Michael, I just bought the acoustic at tangiers cd......are all you albums available on cd now....i have them all on vinyl however i just visited another web page and saw some album titles in 1984 that i do not have. I just had to write and tell you how much
your music has meant to me you were IT when i was in high school and college.
When someone asks me about growing up in northeast ohio, i smile and think
of all the blossom shows. you were a very important part of my life then. and i enjoy listening to the music now. I met you backstage once and I thought that I had died and gone to heaven!! Well, it's about time. I came on and just typed www.michaelstanley.com and look what came up. I'm so glad to see you have your own web site. I lived in Westlake and Bay all my life and grew up with your music. I remember my girlfriend and I sneaking into her brothers room and playing the stagepass album. He even drove us to our first concert. It was on Thanksgiving day 78.7. I went to every concert from then on that was in the Cleveland area. Oh life was good. That is the parts of school I do miss. The summers at Blossom and lots of "wapittoyou juice" hidden the trunk of my 71 Skylark. Smoking Van

For a few great moments we were MSB. Oh I could go on. We are now productive adults with children and wonderful families. You did a good job and thanks for all the great memories.

I've never been to Ohio, and as a teenager in 1976 I didn't even know or care exactly where it was on the map... Then in 1977 I picked up my first MSB record at a 2nd hand record store in Rowayton, Connecticut. Just a high school I was an east coast kid who loved turn out the lights, throw on the ole Koss headphones and drown out my folks screaming at each other downstairs. Heartland, MSB, North Coast,You can't fight fashion,etc. are just great albums then, and still are now. Spanish Nights, In between the lines, Lover, Somewhere in the night, just to name a few, were the tunes that got me through the trials and tribulations of being teenager in the seventies and early eighties.
It is by accident that I happened upon this website...Someone up there
is giving me the chance to thank god for the man who put the white
lines on the highway.

Dear Michael, I became a fan in 1979 when I started high school at St. Ignatius. There is even a photo of one of your concerts at Blossom in one of our yearbooks. I love Stagepass, the live version of Let's Get the Show on the Road is my favorite, I've gone through 3 cassette tapes! Your summer shows at Blossom were a great way to end Summer vacation. I remember how excited I was when I heard He Can't Love You on 95.5 KLOS in L.A. back in '87. Your shows with Donnie Iris were the best, I remember when you and your band lent them your gear when it was stolen back in '82. I hope you are well, I read your interview in a local free newspaper. I'm glad that you are taking care of your health. You are one of Cleveland's jewels.

Great site ya got here. I did'nt know you were still playing.That's real good news.I've been a fan of you're music for 20 years.
I first heard of you when I first started in the music buisness myself. I was a roadie for the band COCOANUT. Do you remember them?
Gary Markasky played guitar and Gizzy played bass.Because of that connection I was lucky enough to see a lot of you're shows, even did a couple of gig with you.Great Memories.I ended up becoming a sound engineer and toured all over the united states for 17 years, "retiring " 6 years ago.
As gift for my birthday last year , my sister got me you're entire catalog on C.D.. Wow, real good memories.

Yeah right....grew up in Chardon, and spent many of cold snowy nights listening to your tunes. Gave up my northern roots, and became a traitor by moving to Pittsburgh, but still brought your tunes with me. By the way Gathering Field are a great band..judged them a few years back at Whiskey Dicks. Anyways to make a long story short, gave up the north completely and transfered to Miami Beach. Found out about the tangier's album, and believe it or not, called a local record dealer, mind you Miami Florida, and they had it! Only one copy left, but I drove it. Imagine my suprise when I walked in, hearing Rosewood Bitters on their system. Just thought that you would like to know

I was chatting on IRC the other day and someone brought up Michael Stanley
Band. I hadn't heard anything in a while and the last time I searched the
net I didn't come up with much. I decided to search again and I found your
official site. It sure is nice to catch up on what Michael Stanley has been
doing and I sure miss seeing him perform. I'm a native of Boardman. I'm

Absolutely LOVE M.S.(those just so happen to be my husband's ititials as well!) I was able to see Michael in concert last summer behind the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame. He may remember the only three ladies there sitting in lawn chairs! He made a comment on "what great seats we had gotten!" After the concert I was able to snap a photo w/ him! What a thrill! Thanks, Michael! It was great. Sorry I just missed you in the Flats! Bummer! Maybe next summer! Keep it up!
