(2000, Razor And Tie)
A B O U T I T
Michael Stanley's fourth solo --and eighteenth, entoto-- outing was released in June, 2000. Not unexpectedly, a lot of familiar names and faces lent their musical talents in the studio, among them: Jennifer Lee, Sasha, Eroc, Mark Lee Shannon, Cy Sulak, Paul Christansen, Ed Caner, and, of course, longtime friends and bandmates, keyboardist/vocalist/songwriter Bob Pelander, drummer Tommy Dobeck and lead guitarist Danny Powers.
An invigorating return to the heartland brand of rock that Michael Stanley has long been noted and appreciated for, the tracks run the gamut from rousing rockers to the tender ballad or two, with a fresh new take on a classic Beatles tune and a liberal dash of rootsy-bluesy numbers...
